Since I came back from my month-long vacation, I haven't been to any tourist destination here at Al Ain City. I am such a bummer these days and I am too bored with my daily routine. I would like to go out but I have no one to tag along since hubby is working in the western region of Abu Dhabi. I guess if I am not working in the hospital or I don't own a camera, I'll be bored to death with household chores. Thanks be to blogging and photography. Whenever I'm having bouts of homesickness, I'll just grab my camera out of the bag and shoot any interesting subject or open my files to view my photo archives. And this is simply what I did today.
Take a look at these photos.....I'm sure many would think that these are just ordinary subjects. For me, these are precious simply because those are my first few subjects when I got my 100mm f/2.8 USM macro lens. Oh! I can even share bits of information using these photos. Hmmm...let me try. :)
If you're a resident of UAE, I'm sure you are familiar with Al Ain Mineral Water. Their state-of-the-art factory is located at the garden city of the UAE along Khattam Al Shiklah road. It is one of the famous mineral water bottling companies here in the UAE. If my memory serves me right, Al Ain Water is one of the sponsors of Al Ain Aerobatic Show 2011. Speaking of Al Ain Aerobatic Show, get ready to be delighted with high-octane aerobatic performances and fleeting maneuvers of aircrafts on Novermber 30 to December 2, 2012 at Al Ain International Airport.
Looking for pet shops? There's one in Al Ain Mall....can't remember the exact location though. I'm sure their customer service personnel can help you to locate the store. Oh! There's another one at Bawadi Mall but it is just a small stall adjacent to the food court. They are selling turtles and colourful fishes for the aquarium--no birds and rabbits. :)
Apart from the 3 signs of summer which I have posted here, I should include the flowers of cacti which bloom during summer time.
