Thank you SEYAHA (of Abu Dhabi Tourism Authority)

If my memory serves me right (I should open my e-mail and check my inbox, yeah right!), it was in the middle of June when I received an e-mail from May El Mohr, one of the Deputy Editors of Seyaha, stating that she found my website while looking for photos of Al Qattara Arts Center on the internet and commended yours truly. She asked me if I would like to be featured in the upcoming issue and without any hesitation, I said yes. I agreed to respond to a couple of questions and share some of my photos.

The other day, I browsed the Abu Dhabi Tourism Authority's website to check out if the July Issue is already available online. I was so glad to see my photos on pages 24-25. Thank you SEYAHA for featuring my blog and my photos!

By the way, SEYAHA is the Abu Dhabi Tourism Authority's stakeholder magazine. This magazine is published quarterly and distributed throughout the UAE and internationally through Abu Dhabi Tourism Authority's international offices. It is also distributed to every embassy worldwide. Seyaha is also available in Etihad business class lounges in London, Frankfurt and Abu Dhabi and carried by Air France and Ukraine International Airlines.

JM (fun under the sun)

7 comments:

Hello blogger friends! I'm back! I missed blogging. Apologies for not saying even a word before the blog break. Been busy for the past few weeks.

UAE's weather has been unrelenting in terms of humidity over the past few weeks, especially in the Emirate of Abu Dhabi. I must say that the weather was very unconducive for travelling and photography. Visibility was often reduced to 50% until about ten in the morning. Here in Al Ain, we do have sand storms for 4 successive days.

Despite the bad weather condition, we travelled all the way from Al Ain to central Abu Dhabi about 11 days ago because of JM, a certified beachcomber. The little boy's feet has been itching to go to the beach and spend the whole morning playing under the sun.  These are some of the photos of JM. Too bad that I forgot to bring my ND filter. The contrast could have been better with the ND filter attached on the camera. I will post the rest of our photos whenever I get time to blog again.

This post is linked to Watery Wednesday hosted by 2sweetnsaxy. Have a nice day fellow photobloggers!!

Sundown at Al Qattara

I am currently attending a photography class at Al Qattara Arts Center located at Al Qattara District. Last Wednesday, I left the class an hour earlier to work for a night shift. I was waiting for my hubby to come and fetch me at the main road when I saw this lovely sunset. So unfortunate that my macro lens, a 100mm f/2.8 was the one mounted in my camera and I never had the chance to change the lens. It could have been better if these photos were snapped with an appropriate lens.

Posted for Skywatch Friday. Have a wonderful weekend fellow photobloggers!
