Theme day: Perspective

I've been away for the past 3 weeks and I am too busy to wander around the city to take new set of photos ,even during the last 10 days of Ramadan after I returned from my much-awaited vacation. I was not aware of this month's theme until I paid a visit to some of my favourite blogs. Shame on me.

For this month's theme, allow me to share these photos that I lifted from my Facebook album. I have converted it into sepia to add some perspective. If you are a regular visitor of this site, I'm sure that you've seen lots of photos of Al Ain forts and you are already familiar with its design. With these photos, I particularly focus on the machicolations or murder-holes which are made of dried mud bricks and date palm trunks. Aside from that, these photos were taken in a moderately high angle.

Click here to view thumbnails for all participants and enjoy my fellow CDP bloggers share for this month's theme.

  1. i think this is perfect in sepia. it looks really old and historic.

  2. Nice SEPIA perspective on the fort! Good idea for theme day!

  3. Great compositions of this magnificent architecture and the tonality add drama and beauty!

Marhaba! SHUKRAN JAZILAN for taking time to reading my posts and posting your comments.
