Painted desert 4

After I had the meeting with a client who wants to advertise on this blog, we went to Zakher district to check out some stuff and on our way home, I saw the sun was finally setting below the horizon. I asked my hubby to pull over even if I wasn't ready since I was wearing a sandal and blouse. I grabbed my cap and my clicking gear and started shooting.

These are some of the photos. I will share the rest on Friday. It never ceased to amaze me seeing the golden yellow sun and these plants thriving in the hot and dry desert. And look what I've found!!....a yellow plant (or a weed?). Isn't it amazing?
I had fun sitting on the warm sand for photo op
I am sharing these photos to Mellow Yellow Monday and My World Tuesday. You might want to see the other photos taken at Al Maqam desert, just click the links provided below.
Word of the day: sahraa is the Arabic word for desert (plural: sahara). Salaam!

    A DAY WITHOUT YELLOW

A day without yellow is drear.
(At least, that’s what I think, my dear.)
    Without the gold touch,
    There just isn’t much
To give life a sparkle—that’s clear!
