Huge

If you are a regular visitor of this site, I'm pretty sure that you that you've seen quite several photos of Al Jahili Fort which I have posted in 2010 and in the first quarter of this year.  For today, let me share these 2 photos of Jahili Fort's circular tower.

If you will look at the first photo, you won't probably appreciate its size but have a look at the second photo where in I asked my son JM and my friend Ghet to stand beside the circular tower.

Aside from the tower's size,  I guess you've noticed Al Ain's gray sky. Yes, we do have gray skies during the month of May until September and the temperature is almost unbearable. Most of the time, skies are clear gray or with few layers of thin clouds. How I wish it's always winter time. Come back next week to see the fort's interior.

This post is linked to Skywatch Friday. Join us and meet the sky lovers and sky watchers in other parts of the world!

Word of the day: kabeer is the Arabic word for huge. Salaam!
