Of my nearly six years of living here in the Emirates, specifically here in Al Ain City, I have never seen an ornamental kale, not until last Sunday when I was walking along the Central District. I was on my way to Al Jumaira Studio to look for a gradient filter when I noticed these decorative cabbages in front of Adidas Factory Outlet.

These kales have violet rosettes but they aren't in a full bloom. I can't wait to see them blooming. Meanwhile, I'll be waiting patiently. I hope these won't get withered because of the heat of the sun. It's almost summer time here in the UAE and the mercury is almost at 35-38 degree Celsius at mid day.

Posted for Today's Flowers. Join the fun and meet the flower lovers around the world!

Have a nice weekend everyone! Can't think of any Arabic word to share for today. Salaam!

A big planting of ornamental cabbages is always spectacular.

I see a lot of these at the gardens, but not as much as this display.

Take care!
