Skywatch Friday

Al Ain's sky is a bit hazy and the wind is almost kicking up the sand and dust making it too difficult to stay outdoors. Few minutes after the sun finally bid goodbye, I've noticed that the wind suddenly stopped blowing and I thought of taking these photos for Skywatch Friday.

Hazzaa Mosque at Al Mutaredh District- I snapped this photo few minutes after the sunset

On another note, UAE's Eid Al Adha holiday will start on November 15, 2010 and will end on November 18, 2010 for the public sector. Too bad that I am working in the hospital and for those employees working in the technical departments will continue to perform their duties as per their duty roster prepared by the department heads. Private sector will get a 3-day holiday and schools will be closed starting tomorrow and will resume its regular classes on November 21, 2010 (oh! my boys are so excited).

Word of the day: Ijazah is the Arabic word for vacation or holiday. Salaam!
