Emirati Youth Pianists

Two weeks ago, I have been to Bawadi Mall to check out the event called Al Ain Reads Book Show sponsored by Abu Dhabi Media Company and supported by the Abu Dhabi Authority for Culture and Heritage. The highlights of the event were book fairs and a show featuring the Emirati Youth Pianists. As I entered the mall's entrance, I heard a classic Beethoven music which prompted me to walked towards the mall's 10m wide concourse. I was so delighted to see one of the musicians playing the piano and I couldn't help but admire him.

Mohammed Al Jahori played a Beethoven music

Emirati Youth Pianists are being taught by the world class pianists, Zdenka Kolarova and Martin Hersel. They are from Czech Republic and both have long and delightful musical background.

I would like to thank Ms. Kafia S. Al Kaabi, an educator, for allowing me to take the photos shown above and for giving me a booklet about the first Emirati Pianists. Just in case you are interested to know more about the Emirati Youth Pianists, you can send her an e-mail at

Word of the day: Mudaares is the Arabic word for teacher/educator. Salaam!
