Apologies for being away for almost 4 days. My family is back! And I am glad to be back. I really missed blogging. I have lots of pictures to post but yours truly is so busy. I'll try my best to update this photoblog on a daily basis, otherwise I have to rename this blog. Lol!

Photo shown above was taken at the top of Jebel Hafeet, the second highest mountain here in the United Arab Emirates. I have been a resident of Al Ain City for more than 5 years now and I've been there for several times, but I haven't tried to snap a sunset at the top of the mountain, not until last Wednesday afternoon when my youngest son asked me if we can take a picture of the expansive view of the rugged mountain. We drove up to the mountain at 05:00 P.M and we patiently waited until we saw the lovely sunset.

Go and visit Skywatch Friday for more amazing skies all over the world.
Word of the day: dhuhr is the Arabic word for afternoon. Salaam!

  1. Certainly worth the wait. Such an expansive view under that almost dusty sunset. Great capture!

  2. Oh, yes, indeed worth the wait, Misalyn! Gorgeous sunset, colors and your photo is superb as always! Enjoy your weekend!
