Al Ain Palace Museum is one of the most photographed structures here in the United Arab Emirates. Apart from its unique architecture, the museum is a treasure trove of interesting information about the UAE culture and the Al Nahyan heritage.
It certainly looks odd as an entry for Skywatch Friday but I just wanted to try the monochrome version of it. Photo taken with my ever reliable Sony cybershot and edited with ACDSee Photomanager 2009. Sometimes I feel like it is better to click with my point and shoot camera than my DSLR camera.
Please click here if you wish to read some info about the museum and if you'd like to see my photos in sepia and real color.
Word of the day: aswad is the Arabic word for black. Have a nice weekend! Salaam!
