Weekend Sky-Watching

I was off from my hospital job the other day and I was on my way to attend the afternoon worship service when I've noticed the sky. Usually, Al Ain have clear blue or gray skies during the summer months with scorching and excruciating heat that will almost turn your skin into a nice "baked" bright red. Last Friday, the temperature dropped to 30-32 degree celsius from the blazing 40-45 degree celsius.

After attending the mass, I walked alone along the Hazzaa Mosque Community and started clicking. By the way, our weekend is Friday and Saturday. Photos shown above were taken half past seven PM.
Scenic Sunday

Word of the day: sahab is the arabic word for clouds. Salaam! A blessed Sunday to all!

  1. Hi Misalyn;) the heat is equally as bad here! Thanks for these beautiful photos. I've not been visiting and commenting for a while and wondered where I missed your change of name? TOO beautiful, anyway. Off record: I've linked your stunning blog to my posts over a few days. I've also started to add an Arabic word to my posts and thank you for giving me the idea and for helping me so much when I first got here. I know how busy you are and still you found time to mail me the phrases and words I needed. (Which I use confidenly now!) Have a blessed day, my friend. (((Hugs))) Jo

  2. Great shots. I don't think I saw any clouds when I was in your part of the world.

  3. The heavens are no respecter of places. We have that sort of shifting weather down under too.

It's great to see the other parts of the world. And your photographic addiction does justice along that line.

    Cheers!

  5. That's quite a drop in temperature, although I would still find 30°C very warm here in Ontario, Canada.
