Artificial Palm Tree

Day before yesterday, while walking around the vicinity of Hazzaa Mosque community, I saw this artificial palm tree from afar. I was thinking of a possible answer why there is a need for artificial palm trees considering that palm trees are very common here. Out of curiosity, I took some snaps and realized that it is a communication tower camouflaged as palm tree.

Word of the day: ashjar is the arabic word for tree
A blessed Sunday to all. Salaam!

  1. this ashjar is really very non artificial! i liked it! happy sunday! click more shoot more share more

  2. Looks like real! Pretty!
    Have a great day, Misalyn!

  3. Hahaha! Oh, that is ingenious! Better than some metal monstrosity anytime.

  4. That is quite ingenious. It is surprising that anyone would even think of that but it looks good.

  5. there has been a lot of fuss about a communication pole in my neighbor hood and the radiation that might come from it. I think this disguise would be brilliant for it!

  6. We have many disguised communication poles here in California. Some look like palms and others look like pine trees. But you can always tell that they are fake.

  7. What a surprise indeed. Over here they are mostly placed on top of buildings and hidden behind some advertisment displays, creating time and again, lots of stress for the people living there, as they fear as well the radiaton mentioned a little earlier.
What a wonderful idea though. Please have a nice start into the new week.
