Al Ain Taxi (Abu Dhabi taxi)

These shots were taken yesterday morning (it looks blurred because of the fog) when I took the pictures of Hazza Mosque (see previous post). The sky was gloomy .

I saw this taxi in the parking area of Hazza Mosque. Actually, there's a store adjacent to the mosque and the taxi driver bought some food. When he saw me clicking, he asked me if I can take pictures of him and told me "yahla sister, sawi sura" ( come on sister, take a picture), with a big grin on his face. Stood beside the taxi and gladly pose for me. Thank you Sadiq.

One of these days, I'll show you the old Al Ain taxi, the golden brown and white taxi. By the way, the flag down rate is AED 2 at day time and AED 3.60 (almost $1) after 10PM. The old taxi is cheaper, with a flag down rate of AED 2. Most of the taxis are Mitsubishi, Toyota, and Chevrolet cars.

Word of the day: sayyarah is the arabic word for car. Salaam to all!
