Green Mubazzarah

Green Mubazzarah is a prime recreation area located at the foothills of Jebel Hafeet, the second highest mountain here in UAE and the highest in the emirates of Abu Dhabi. It is approximately 20 to 30 minute-drive by car from Al Ain town center and an hour by public transport buses.

With the park's facilities, I'm sure your family will have a wonderful time. You can bring your picnic basket and simply spread your carpet on the lush green bermuda grass. Barbeque grill are also available but you have to bring your own charcoal. Kids can play and enjoy the playground facilities. If you love swimming, there are indoor pools too. And a lot more. All you need to do is to explore the place.

Photos shown below were taken in 3 different occasions. Enjoy the photos!

This is the area where you can enjoy smimming in the warm water of indoor swimming pool.

huge artificial lake

Did you notice those white floating objects? Those are *khuboz. Tourists and visitors thrown those khuboz to feed the fishes in that lake.

I wonder if this a palace...hmmm I must come back and see for myself.

I thought of including these shots to share some fun family moments that we have in Green Mubazzarah.
January 19, 2008- me and my hubby, playing badminton while the kids were watching

September 18, 2007 -my family including my mother and some of our friends

That's all folks. Hope you enjoyed it.

Word of the day: khuboz is the arabic word for bread. Salaam to all!
